Hi there. I’m Laura. I’m a launch & marketing coach & a graphic designer. I’ve worked as a microenterprise development professional, start-up consultant, coach and trainer for over a decade.
I recently launched BrainyFeet which offers business savvy, support and survival skills for the modern home-employed & homeschooling family.
Everyone is welcome to stop by, read, laugh and learn with us. I’m particularly interested in working with parents who are home educating & would like to earn all of their income from home and entrepreneurs who are considering home education.
I’m a graphic designer too. You can see my stuff or hire me at Laura Gets Graphic. I make websites, logos and print design. I’ve been crowned the Derby Design Diva because I do a lot of work for roller derby leagues nationwide.
Meanwhile, in my secret laboratory, I’m developing DIYFamilies… a new kind of online community for families that are both home employed and home educating their kids.
I’m also an unschooling mom of four (ages 20, 17 & 3 year old twins), a total spoiled brat of a wife (seriously, I’m a ridiculously lucky girl), boozy cupcake baker extraordinaire, sarcastic geek and a lifelong student of, well, pretty much anything and everything.
We’re moving from Wasilla, Alaska to the Tennessee Smoky Mountains in the Fall of 2011.
